Who we are

Launchpad Studios ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based web design and development studio. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you share with us, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

When you contact us or submit an enquiry through this website, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Any details you choose to include in your message about your project

We do not collect special category data, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and discuss your project
  • Provide quotes and deliver our services if you become a client
  • Keep records of our correspondence

Our lawful basis for processing is your consent (when you contact us) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, email and hosting providers), and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. After that, we securely delete it.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict our processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and tracking

We use local storage that is necessary for the website to function, including to remember your cookie preferences.

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which loads for all visitors when you arrive on the site. It helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and reach people who may be interested in our services, and means some data (such as your IP address and the pages you view) is shared with Meta. You can read more in Meta's Privacy Policy and control ad personalisation in your Facebook settings.

Google Analytics, which we use to understand site traffic, loads only after you accept cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer.
